A free society must have the freedom of speech. Our founding fathers would be ashamed of you, if you are in favor of banning free speech. Counselors and therapists must have the freedom to help those seeking help with the help that their expertise advises them to provide. This is not a one sided debate. Even though those who want to pass laws like these want us to believe that their views are the only views which should be allowed. There have been some practices which were mistakes, and wrong, every discipline sometimes makes mistakes. But you must listen to the thousands of those who have actually been helped by therapy to make the opposite choice. Now you want to stop anyone from being helped unless it goes along with your one and only view. To silence all others, you propose laws that ban the freedom of speech. That would be worse. Please vote NO!
