Counseling for minors with regard to sexual orientation works.  A child of one sex who may have a temporary inclination to believe it should be a different sex should be counseled to accept reality.  Children fantasize, perhaps to believe it is a firefighter or astronaut.  In today’s environment, where internet games promote an alternative existence, children need to be informed of reality.  Sexual changes can be devastating in later life, and are usually non reversible.  Counseling can avoid such outcomes.
