Although kratom may be a nasty habit, similar to drinking, tobacco, or caffeine overuse, I don't see what good banning these substances.  But if you're gonna ban kratom atleast ban the more harmful substances like alcohol, which they did In the 20s, that turned out well. I can say from personal experience kratom is addictive and somewhat nasty habit.  But also as human beings it is our right to choose what we put in our bodies, and all that criminalizing kratom is going to do is hurt people, so if your goal is to hurt people and make the world a worse place, I recommend criminalizing kratom, but not if you want to make the world a better place.
