Conversation Therapy advertises that a person's sexual orientation can be altered, or changed completely due to counseling methods. After 22 years leading a full time organization, 475 full time residential clients in that period, focused on conversion therapeutic principles, I never saw one person's sexual orientation change. This practice is fraudulent, claiming outcomes that have not actually been accomplished. This leads to severe discouragement, painful disappointments and often depression and suicide!
