The AMA, the APA, and the AAP oppose so-called conversion or reparative therapy. Virginia should follow the lead of these professional organizations. This type of "therapy" is damaging and ineffective.  Being LGBTQ is not a disorder or illness. Our sexual orientation and gender identity is part of who we are as humans.
