Demonizing the term conversion therapy is misleading and troubling.  Minors who struggle with unwanted feelings of same-sex attraction and gender dysphoria should not be prevented from seeking treatment they desire to overcome or work through feelings they do not wish to have.  Calling such therapy "bad" is dishonest.  

To echo what so many have said, parents, not government bureaucrats or ideologs, do and should continue to have the ability to pursue therapy that they determine is in the best interest of their child.  Do not cave to the pressure from groups that do not love these children.
