Sir:
I offer my commentary on this subject.
As currently crafted, this measure is not a matter for the State - rather it is a matter for individual conscience. This is an unwarranted intrusion into the freedom of conscience of individuals wherein voluntary access to therapy is banned. What ethical parallels can you offer to provide a rational precedent? This measure will deny the resources of those who are at a juncture of confusion in their lives their due right for access to broader perspectives that will only aid them in their inherent dignity as human beings the information to allow them the ability to truly chose.
Sir, this is a slippery slope - a precedent that will have no logical bound. What will be next? Will there be bans on therapy in other healing arts? This is Orwellian at its core.
The science is NOT settled on the subject of gender dysphoria, as a man of learning and medical doctor you would well be aware of. It is better for all concerned for the State to stay out of this space.
Respectfully,
