Only politicians could attempt to regulate so called "conversion therapy" while still celebrating the sterilization and mutilation of adults and children who would be denied the kind of necessary and responsible talk therapy covered by this irresponsible ban. Only ideologues with a one-size fits all worldview would attempt to insert the government into the therapeutic relationship. How will such a ban be enforced? By sending in fake clients to therapists and entrapping professionals dedicated to helping vulnerable people? Using horror stories about long abandoned practices and implying they are still happening today is dishonest and manipulative. I strongly oppose this regulation.
