I strongly feel that the Physical Therapist should NOT use dry needle for their patients. Firstly, they do not equipped with sufficient knowledge of all the major pressure points in a human body, hence, the number of hours that they study for this particular practice is definitely not sufficient as compared to 2,000+ hours of the license acupuncturist hours they study for the course.
Secondly, due to the above reasons, I would not recommend that they use dry needle for their patients.
Sincerely,
Kenneth Cheung
