The evidence and the stats are clear: Trans people aren't a danger to others in bathrooms and locker rooms. They're in danger from others.
I'm sure people made bogus public-health arguments to argue for racially segregated bathrooms and changing rooms, too. History has proved that naked bigotry wrong, and it will do the same for the current panic over trans people.
Trans people are Virginians, too. They pay taxes, they go to work and church, they love their neighbors, same as anyone else. They deserve our protection, not our persecution, same as anyone else.
It's none of the Board of Health's business what's in my pants or anyone else's. Leave these folks alone and focus on issues that actually matter.
