I am a cis-woman. I have never felt threatened by trans women, not in person and not in concept. I am frankly offended that trans rights are being threatened under the guise of "protecting" women like me. These proposed rules do not reflect what I believe, that trans people deserve all the same rights, opportunities, and respect afforded to cis people, including the opportunity to participate in society in their gender-affirmed identity. This is an effort to sow fear and divide communities and must be rejected.
