Looking at the prices and what they will go to will is going to make nursing in general worse. I know of people that have not renewed their license cause they can’t afford to. Me being a mother of two there’s no way I’d be able to pay what would be asked to pay to renew I live pay check to paycheck as it is. Then the prices of testing and the application fee is outrages people that are in school/taking classes most likely aren’t working much so to class no way they (unless the current job they have helps with the fee) pay those fees. I feel like this will also affect facility’s and keep them from doing classes. We as a nursing whole are already in a shortage no need to make the problem worse and raise the fees.
