Banning this plant would be a HUGE disservice to the people of Virgina, as well as thousands around the country who purchase their Kratom from reputable vendors in VA. For the life of me, I cannot understand why anyone would want to ban a plant that literally helps people to get off hard drugs and addictive pain meds. Kratom is NOT comparable to heroin. As someone who was once addicted to opiods, it is NOT the same. Kratom saved me from continuing down a dark path. It has saved thousands of others. It has given people their life back. People with chronic pain, anxiety, PTSD, etc. have all greatly benefitted from this MIRACLE plant. Alcohol has a MUCH more negative impact than Kratom ever will, yet it's perfectly legal. Banning Kratom will leave blood on your hands.
