Please do not ban kratom

I do not support this petition or making kratom criminal and a Schedule I substance. I started using kratom recently to help with my menstrual cramps and headaches. I had no problems whatsoever and it felt like I was drinking green tea. It's a (green) powder just like tea or coffee. It didn't taste or feel weird at all. When someone is in a lot of pain, they should have access to all of the possible ailments to ease or get rid of the pain. It's not fair to force options to people who are already suffering (taking away access to herbs, kratom, and forcing opioids or pills). Please do not schedule or ban kratom - you would be hurting a lot of people. Instead, pass a KCPA that regulates kratom so that there are clear rules to producing it so that it is not contaminated with actual harmful chemicals and drugs. If you truly care about the people, keep kratom safe in Virginia.
