I'm not a Virginia resident, but I am a Kratom advocate due to what this miracle plant has done for me. I was a hopeless alcoholic for 5 years, I would get drunk on hard liquor every night, it was a terrible way to live. I wanted to quit, but going to rehab was out of the question. I did a lot of research on the internet and eventually found kratom. It wasn't an instant cure or anything, but it was crucial to help ween off of alcohol. I haven't drank to get drunk since 2019 (I still drink socially on occasion as to not be rude), my quality of life has improved to a point that I didn't believe was possible. I have a steady job helping people which I absolutely love, I'm a home owner, life is good. Please don't ban kratom in the great state of Virginia, it helps so many people. I support regulation like the KCPA to require lab testing, add labeling requirements and most importantly to prevent minors from obtaining it.
