There's a reason that the anti-kratom comments on this petition are written as second-hand sources and the pro-kratom comments are all first-hand. The vast majority of anti-kratom points all come from the same handfull of biased and incorrect sources.

I have been taking kratom daily for six years with no ill effects. In this time, I've seen the anti-kratom propaganda wax and wane and have always been able to trace the source back to unscrupulous zealots. The idea that kratom is deadly is severely attenuated when you consider that each person in the examples had other substances in the body. For the hundreds of supposed kratom deaths, there are tens of thousands of people who have had their lives changed for the better.

To my personal story, I was on the verge of suicide when I found kratom. It pulled me back and gave my son a father. To take kratom away will leave blood on your hands. People will die. Don't be the antagonist of history.
