Consider the facts

It’s clear that there’s a market for this. There will continue to be a market whether it’s prohibited or not. Just think back to when alcohol was prohibited. The prohibition was not effective. Instead of making those same mistakes today, let’s legalize and regulate it so we can ensure that it is quality controlled, and so that we tax it and feed our economy instead of prohibiting it and sending all that money to gang members.

We have historical precedent to see that prohibition causes people to seek illegal alternatives like heroin, which may be laced with fentanyl. If we keep it legal that will not be an issue.

If you care about saving lives, do not prohibit this substance.
