I had two brain surgeries at the age of 16, which led to a dependence on opiate painkillers. That addiction cost me many years of my life in prison. The problem is that I have legitimate physical pain from the two decompression surgeries I had at the base of my skull. The pain is chronic and never really goes completely away. Kratom helped me get off of the fentanyl and dilaudid. And it also reduces my physical pain by about 75%. my quality of life without Kratom would be so poor that I’d have no reason to live. it saved my life and so many other peoples lives… Please do not support this ban.
