Kratom is safe if used responsibly.

Please protect Kratom. It is safe if it is not abused. Stop letting the idiots who abuse it ruin it for those of us who take it responsibly to manage our pain, mental illness, and recovery from addiction. Teach moderation and regulate it. We had this same fight for years over marijuana, which has effects that are so much stronger than Kratom. Please do you research, people. The ones that abuse this stuff are ruining it for everyone else. People will abuse anything no matter if it's legal or not. That's why regulation and moderation are key. Thanks to Kratom, I was able to get off of hard drugs, go back to school and get my degree, and now I have an amazing job. I still use Kratom to manage my back pain and my overall anxiety from the trauma I experienced while on hard drugs. I've been taking it for almost 9 years in small doses and I have friends who have died from heroin that I wish I could have showed the miracles of Kratom and maybe they would still be alive today. Could I survive now without Kratom? Sure, if I had to I would. And I would still refuse to take pharmaceuticals to manage my life. I would adapt without needing anything but coffee, so making Kratom illegal still would not make me put any money in big pharma's pocket. But I think making it illegal will send a lot of people back to opiates and it would detrimental to society. Please teach people how to use this miracle plant responsibly. Making it illegal is just going to cause more problems than we already have.
