Banning Kratom will make the opioid epidemic worse
 

Many people take kratom to help decrease withdrawal symptoms when they are trying to covercome addiction by quitting street drugs. Kratom helps decrease symptoms, without making the person high. 

Kratom can also help with chronic pain and fatigue, giving people ask alternative to turning to stay drugs. This allows them to be functional members of society.

For both of these reasons, bannong kratom will worsen the epidemic of people using illegal narcotics.
