Based on other comments in the forum, kratom has the potential to be beneficial in a medical setting, but keeping such a strong sedating drug over-the-counter is dangerous. Some people will take advantage of drugs no matter what, but limiting access keeps the populus safer. There are worse drugs out there, so why ban kratom before oxycodone or fentanyl?
