The state should not be in the business of choosing the goals of therapy - let parents and families decide for themselves what their therapeutic goals are.   Talk therapy designed  to help a person embrace their sexual identity (male or female) or to understand  their wounds, or gain self-control over their  inclinations is good therapy.  The state has no business in limiting the choices of parents and individuals.  Nor does it have the right to prevent a physician or counselor from offering clients the kind of therapy they desire.  This is politicial correctness run amok!
