Service Facilitators are essential to the success of consumer-directed care. They provide personalized, in-person support to navigate complex authorizations, EVV rules, and payroll issues. Replacing them with a centralized Support Brokerage model will create severe conflicts of interest, disrupt fragile care arrangements, and leave disabled Virginians and their families without independent advocates. Cost-containment and administrative reform should never come at the expense of human dignity and quality of care. Please stand with Virginia families and keep independent Service Facilitators in place.
