Kratom

I suffer from myalgic encephalomyelitis. I have found kratom to be one of the things that has helped me greatly as I testified in front of a panel of senators and congresspeople in Georgia in 2017. Kratom, a cousin to the coffee plant has many beneficial properties that has helped people for many different ailments, pain, mood, energy, sleep, chromes, IBS and many other amazing ways to help people. It makes zero sense that a cousin to the coffee plant would be any schedule which is why the DEA decided not to schedule it in 2016 after hearing from the  public how beneficial it is.

Instead of scheduling it you should follow the science and pass a Kratom Consumer Protection Act as Georgia did so people can safely take this supplement without having to worry what else is in it besides kratom.

Please do not hurt the people of your state by making this very poor decision without looking at all the evidence.

This helps people, it does not hurt people. I believe I read a study where they tried to kill a mouse by giving it 200 times the normal dose a number of years back and, of course, the mouse didn't die.

This is safe, effective, inexpensive, natural and we don't need government oversight to take supplements especially a cousin to the coffee plant.

Follow the science not the fake news. Please do the right thing for the people this time.
