Proposed Stormwater Regulations

The proposed Stormwater Regulations should be passed in their current form.

Do reject the homebuilders association’s proposal for amendment, and listen to Virginia's scientists and citizens. Changes to dilute the proposed regulations will cost us more money and potential losses of resources down the line.

In light of the evidence, we must take strong action to control runoff from development, which is hurting our marine resources and ultimately our quality of life.

I care about clean water, a strong and healthy ecosystem, and individuals taking personal responsibility for maintaining those, and I want the Commonwealth to take strong action to control RUNOFF FROM DEVELOPMENT, which is hurting the Bay.

The proposed regulations SHOULD BE PASSED IN THEIR CURRENT FORM.

Virginia must stand beside other progressive states who are taking the right actions to save our citizens, our visitors, our communities from the longterm negative effects of short-sighted resource management decisions that may significantly alter or compromise our natural resources and our lives on many fronts.
