I am deeply concerned that the regulatory board is considering a ban on counseling that would help those who want to over-come unwanted same-sex attractions or gender disphoria.  Parents absolutely know their children best, and should be able to seek the help of any professional counselor that they deem appropriate to help their child navigate the sensitive and personal issues regarding their sexuality.  This is a direct assault or personal and religious freedom, and is quite totalitarian in nature.  Since when, do highly political, special-interest groups get to dictate how people think and act.  You have a responsibility to  protect the freedom of ALL Virginians to seek the type of counselor that they choose...NOT the STATE!
