The only justification I can see for this order is in the subject line.  Apart reating "gun free zones" serves the exclusive purpose of inconveniencing lawful armed citizens.  With no screening being included, criminals or others with ill intent will simply ignore the signs, with no one the wiser until they open fire.  Shameful.
