Unnecessary Restrictions on Firearms

I oppose the proposed executive action on firearms by the governor of Virginia, which skirts the authority of the General Assembly. I also oppose the continuing undermining of the Legislative branch by the sitting Attorney General (M. Herring) who is supposed to be supporting the state constitution in his advice to the governor, rather than attempting to subvert the document's intent.  I would respectfully ask that the comment period be extended by 30 days and that furthermore, the full intent of the proposed legislation and it's follow-up actions be revealed to the citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia so they know what is truly going on and can take action to stop the deceitful attempts to restrict their liberty. Criminals do not, and never have, given any regard for extra regulations...only the law-abiding citizens of the state of Virginia, and the United States, will be affected by this regulation. Please abandon this attempt to impose an illegal restriction on our God-given rights.
