A threat to my family's and my safety is as much a possibility in a state forest as in any other location, and my right to defend myself against such threats should not be restricted.  Especially in large area such as state forests, the potential exists to be far from anyone who may (or may not) be willing to come to my defense, increasing my need for means of personal protection.

I urge you to support the change in this regulation.
