Description This regulation sets forth the policies, criteria, and procedures that VDOT, on behalf of the Commonwealth Transportation Board (CTB), will follow in granting permits to allow vegetation to be removed from the vicinity of signs/structures on state property controlled by the CTB.

Goals of Regulation The goal of this regulation is to ensure the vegetation along Virginia’s highways is maintained in a manner that protects the safety of the traveling public.
