I started acupuncture treatments about six months ago, and they have truly been life-changing - acupuncture has completely alleviated my life-long struggle with endometriosis, which traditional medicine has been unable to do for 25 years. I felt immediate relief after my first session - this is a testament to the training, education, and skill level of my practitioner. My acupuncturist is a true master, and my results speak volumes to the importance of highly trained acupuncturists. Although dry-needling may be of benefit to some, I do not believe the duration and complexity of my condition could be as adequately and quickly addressed by someone with minimal training. In addition to the extensive training, being treated by a practitioner who is licensed by the state gives me the added peace of mind that I am receiving safe, top-notch, quality care. In my experience, dry-needling cannot be equated with acupuncture.
