Good afternoon,
I am saddened to have to write to you about an issue that should already have been established as NO kill. Animals, and pets enrich our lives, they make us healthier, happier and better people. Animals are sweet, loving and forgiving and there should not be an expiration date on their chance to find the perfect family. For example, a family lost their dog, Sammy, during the hurricanes. They kept searching and four years later decided to go to a shelter to adopt a new dog. Four years later they find Sammy in that shelter. By being no kill shelters this allows family members to be rejoined and is the right thing to do. No kill shelters should be the only option and will bring hope and happiness to millions of lives.
Sincerely,
Jodie Manganelli
