In Favor of Regulatory Change

I am in favor of this regulatory change for several reasons:

1) I believe we need to support our own citizens in their earnest pursuit of a valuable and meaningful career as a health practitioner in the field of acupunture.
2) It is unreasonable to hold our own citizens to a higher standard than that of students who enjoy some level of accomodation coming from educational institutions in other countries.
3) The NCCAOM is a rigorous exam and should be sufficient to verify the competency of accupunturists seeking in practice in the Commonwealth.
4) In this economic environment, we need to do more to support individuals who are seeking a means to further their education and expand their licensing into other areas of practice.
