As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst in the Commonwealth of Virginia, I am writing to support the regulations governing the practice of Behavior Analysis in Virginia. The current regulations governing the practice of behavior analysis in Virginia promote high quality, effective services for children and families in our Commonwealth. Additionally, the BACB's certification process is one to be highly respected and should continue to be the first requirement toward becoming state licensed.  An advisory board containing behavior analysts would be the best way to oversee professionals licensed and practicing in our state. Please maintain the regulations as written to allow these services to continue.
