As a graduate student finishing my Master’s degree in Counselor Education, I have studied and practiced various counseling theories that pertain to a wide range of individuals. The extensive amount of supervision, guidance, and support  that I have received throughout my counseling studies does not compare to a Psychology curriculum. Therefore, I oppose this petition and believe that anyone becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor should have a degree in Counseling.
