As a practicing behavior analyst, I am writing to indicate my support for the current regulations governing the practice of behavior analysis in the Commonwealth. I have worked with numerous children with autism since the initiation of the current regulations and have seen these children benefit from behavior analytic services as outlined in the regulations. It is my sincere hope that the regulations are maintained as they are so that high quality, evidence-based behavioral services can continue to be provided to children in Virginia that are in need.
