I live in oxford house Madison Valley in Harrisonburg, Va. I want to start off by saying, i have been an addict for 20 years off and on and having people that's been through the same struggle has taught me responsibility and accountability. Oxford house is the best solution for anyone that's struggling with addiction.  Basically what I am trying to say is Oxford House saved my life and made me a better person and I am beyond grateful for that. I support rules that keep people safe, but rules that require staff or assume every home is a commercial business will keep oxford houses from operating in Virginia even though research shows OUR model gets the best results. Please change those rules and please clarify whether house members are considered the operator.
