Following receipt of all comments on the petition to amend regulations, the Board will decide whether to make any changes to the regulatory language in Regulations Governing the Practice of Pharmacy. This matter will be on the Board’s agenda for its meeting on June 12, 2012, and the petitioner will be informed of the Board’s decision after that meeting.

At its meeting on June 12, 2012, the Board considered all comment and a recommendation from the Regulation Committee. In response, it decided to issue a Notice of Intended Regulatory Action (NOIRA) to consider changes similar to those suggested in the petition. Following publication of the NOIRA, the Regulation Committee of the Board will review regulations from other states and any comments received from the Notice. Draft regulations will be proposed to the full Board. |
