| Purpose of the meeting A public hearing to receive comments on a draft permit to INGENCO for a new construction permit to produce electrical power from landfill gas from the King and Queen Landfill. This landfill gas is normally combusted in open flares located on the King and Queen Landfill site and this electrical power generation is considered a beneficial use of the energy. The public comment period begins on August 8, 2007, and closes on September 26, 2007. An informational briefing will begin 1/2 hour before the public hearing. | |
