| Purpose of the meeting Consistent with Amendment 28 to HB29 (Budget Bill for 2018-2020) and the applicable provisions of § 2.2-3708.2 in the Freedom of Information Act, the Board will convene a virtual workgroup meeting to develop recommendations for board consideration for: statewide protocols for the initiating of treatment with and dispensing and administering of drugs and devices by pharmacists; and, emergency regulations for implementing the provisions in accordance with § 54.1-3303.1 of the Code of Virginia and as outlined in the second enactment clause of HB 1506 passed during the 2020 General Assembly session. Written public comment may be sent to caroline.juran@dhp.virginia.gov in advance of the meeting. Written public comments received by 8am on August 9, 2020 will be included in the agenda packet. Public comment will also be received at the beginning of the meeting from those persons who have submitted an email to caroline.juran@dhp.virginia.gov no later than 8am on August 17, 2020 indicating that they wish to offer comment. As the names of these individuals are announced at the beginning of the meeting, comment may be offered. Instructions for accessing the meeting are included in the agenda package. | |
