| Purpose of the meeting To receive comment on this new regulation, which provides administrative structure for DBHDS qualifications, education, and experience for peer recovery specialists to ensure that individuals providing peer recovery services in Virginia’s public system of behavioral health services demonstrate a baseline of practical knowledge. All interested citizens are encouraged to participate; however, for clarification to anyone who expresses interest in the hearing: This hearing is to receive comment only on the text of the DBHDS regulation that is in the adoption process, and on no other issues related to the system or other regulations. | |||
