| Purpose of the meeting A public hearing to receive comments on the proposed repeal of 9VAC5-221 - Variance for Rocket Motor Test Operations at Atlantic Research Gainesville Facility. The notice of public comment appears in the Virginia Register of Regulations on January 16, 2012. The comment period begins on January 16, 2012 and ends on February 15, 2012. The purpose of the Atlantic Research Corporation (ARC) Gainesville Facility variance was to provide an alternative means of certifying compliance with particulate matter standards. The variance is no longer necessary as the facility shut down in March 2007. Repeal of the variance will ensure that the board’s regulations are up to date and accurate. | ||
