| Purpose of the meeting A public hearing on a draft new major source of hazardous air pollutants permit for the Virginia City Hybrid Energy Center in Wise County. The comment period begins on March 4, 2008 and ends April 18, 2008. The technology that will be used at the facility to control hazardous air emissions includes limestone injection into the boiler, post-combustion flue gas desulfurization, activated carbon injection, fabric filters, and good combustion practices. | |
