| Purpose of the meeting The purpose of the meeting is to receive comments on a proposed state implementation plan revision that is necessary to ensure Stafford County, as part of the Ozone Transport Region, meets the requirements of Reasonable Available Control Technology (RACT). The proposed plan revision, “State Implementation Plan to Support Reasonable Available Control Technology (RACT) in Stafford County, Virginia,” is intended to demonstrate that Stafford County meets the requirements of RACT set forth by the federal Clean Air Act. RACT is the lowest emission limit that a particular source is capable of meeting by the application of control technology that is reasonably available considering technological and economic feasibility. | |
