| Purpose of the meeting Virginia Electric and Power Company has applied for a permit to construct the Virginia City Hybrid Energy Center; a circulating fluidized bed electric power generating facility. The facility will be classified as a major source of air pollution and will be located just north and east of Alternate Route 58 and is currently transected by Russell Creek Road in Virginia City in Wise County. The purpose of the meeting is to brief the public on the on the air quality permit application for the proposed electric power generating facility. In addition, Department staff will be available with project information from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on December 10 at the St. Paul Elementary School Play Room, 3200 Fourth Avenue in St. Paul. | |
