| Summary |
The purpose of this document is to provide information to DEQ air compliance and permitting staff regarding implementation of the program exempting Qualified Fumigation Facilities (QFFs) from permitting that became effective July 1, 2011. ยง10. 1-13081 of the Code of Virginia provides a permitting exemption for QFF but requires QFFs to submit extensive information regarding their fumigation operations to DEQ for notification, PTE verification, and tracking purposes. This guidance is not intended to cover every situation but should be applicable in most scenarios.
