Stage:
On 11/12/2025 the board requested that this
emergency stage be extended until 8/10/2026.
Reason for Extension:
The proposed stage regulatory changes completed the required 60-day comment period on October 10, 2025. The Board of Pharmacy met on September 30, and, since the public comment period was ongoing, could not vote on a final action at that time. The Board's next meeting is on December 10, 2025. The Board will vote on a final action at that time, but because the existing emergency regulation expiration date is February 11, 2026, the final action would have to complete internal agency review and executive branch review and be submitted to the Registrar in less than 12 days to ensure crisis stabilization services can continue use of automated dispensing devices.
This emergency extension request was approved by the Governor's office on 11/19/2025.
