Leveraging VirginiaNavigator Websites for HCBS Outreach
 

The VirginiaNavigator Family of Websites (SeniorNavigator.org, disAbilityNavigator.org and VeteransNavigator.org) provide free comprehensive health and community support information and guidance to Virginians and their families utilizing our model “high-tech/high-touch” program and database of over 26,000 programs and services.  With nearly 1 million visits to our websites last year and partnerships with over 740 grassroots Navigator centers across the state, we are a well-utilized resource-especially during COVID-19 where needs have been significantly amplified.  (90-second explainer video @ https://vimeo.com/192532005).

VirginiaNavigator has the ability to help with outreach efforts, assisting with the preparation of educational materials in accessible formats for individuals receiving HCBS about COVID-19 prevention, treatment, recovery for eligible individuals, their families and communities across Virginia.  With a two-pronged "high-tech/high-touch" approach, we would utilize our websites and our grassroots network of partnerships (740+) across every city and county in the Commonwealth to accomplish outreach goals and increase access to HCBS (home and community-based services) and supports.
