I don’t agree that this law is necessary. There are anti bullying laws already in effect. All children need a safe learning environment. No child should be singled out as being more special than another child. What is being done about the concerns for parents of biological girls having to share bathrooms & locker rooms with biological boys and vice versa? What will be done to protect students who are made to feel uncomfortable or unsafe from students identifying as a different gender? Will there be a new law to protect them? I believe there needs to be more discussion and research on the effects of enacting a new law that revolutionizes the separation of biological boys and girls.
