Live ins are saving the state millions. They are not committing fraud to get an extra $9 from the government. They deal with so much at attempting a normal life. Now, I understand EVV has affected them in the following ways as well. The application gets stuck often, sometimes causing late sign in or sign out. If late signing out, the system will delete the shift. With every update, they have to get the fiscal agent to un register so they can re register. HIPPA violation possible - the consumer and attendant's privacy. EVV is targeting the disabled community by singling them out. The application seems to have been introduced prematurely. The application does not appear to be ready for consumer use. How much security is there with an application that doesn't even work for it's intended purpose? Live ins do not need security breaches next. Virginia, exempt live ins.
